The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed concerning the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area daily. The company issue created for intervention encounters status sassa a substantial influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to allow the servicing of all buyers and improve access here to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
